Litigation Attorneys Win Against Allstate
Allstate was recently found to be THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY in the United States for Consumers in a report by the American Association for Justice entitled report entitled “The Ten Worst Insurance Companies in America: How They Raise Premiums, Deny Claims, and Refuse Insurance to Those Who Need It Most.” Even before this report was released, the Litigators at Douglas, Haun & Heidemann, P.C. realized that Allstate was like a parasite - taking in premiums to satisfy its need for money but refusing to pay valid claims.Our attorneys have made a strong stand for the victims of Allstate. Recently, out attorneys Craig Heidemann and Nathan Duncan, took a judgment against Allstate for vexatious refusal to pay a client's medical expense coverage claim. They recovered vexatious (bad faith) refusal penalties and their attorney fees. Shortly before that they obtained yet another judgment against an Allstate insured when Allstate's attorney failed to show up in court and defend the driver that Allstate insured.
